Projects

Our projects promote four dimensions of teaching today: pedagogy, innovation, community and research

Poetic Pedagogies

We build a teaching methodology based on the analysis of poetic texts. In 2017, this project won the National Prize of the Youth of Peru. It is the methodology of our workshops.

Festival of the Humanities

We involve the community to promote humanistic knowledge in public spaces through the arts.

LAVAlab

It is the laboratory of pedagogical innovation where inter- and transdisciplinarity are the tools for an avant-garde educational design.

TXT Magazine

It is a publication that promotes the rapprochement between the arts, humanities and social sciences in order to interpret and transform our reality.

Testimonials

“By making use of LAVA's pedagogical techniques, we get to know the value that each being has in the world and that they can be given various uses according to our personal and group imagination.”
“It was a workshop that broke schemes: each participant was weaving his own story, rebuilding his life in society. And when there is collective support, everything is better. The teamwork was noticeable.”

Catherine Rojas Psychology student. lime

“The workshops surprised me because they used different techniques to carry out the training, which was great because it helped to gain confidence in all the attendees and each participant was able to give their point of view. So we were able to show each other's inner poet and express our opinion to the public without fear.”

“Without a doubt, a rewarding and enriching experience with an excellent course and a very didactic and interactive methodology.”

Jorge Nureña Historian. Trujillo.

“I have learned not to be afraid of the game, to break in with screams, to (un) entangle with the body and the desire to weave stories, to break with the very vertical idea that we have of being in a classroom, and above all I am very grateful for having participated in this beautiful proposal.”

Claria SalinasLaw student. lime

“In the workshop, we managed to discover that rhythm is in everything, that it depends on an ear full of curiosity, and that rhythm is essential in poetry. We finally discover that we all have a poet to come out and that poetry can become body and pedagogy.”
